Job Type: Full time; Consultant
Location: Tallassee, AL
Schedule: 1st shift 6:00am - 2:30pm, 2nd shift 2:30 pm - 11:00 pm, 3rd shift 11:00pm - 7:00am Must be able to work any shift
Pay Rate: $30.00 per hour
What You’ll Do Day to Day
Perform visual and dimensional inspections from AS9102 First Article Inspection (FAI) through final inspection
Ensure all inspection tools are within calibration and used per tolerance requirements
Verify conformance to specifications using precision measuring instruments, templates, color charts, and inspection checklists
Read and interpret blueprints, manuals, and technical data to determine inspection methods and requirements
Identify nonconforming materials, generating Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs), and moving items to quarantine
Perform internal audits and generating Corrective Action Reports (CARs) using TIP QA software
Record inspection data accurately in written and electronic systems
Communicate quality issues with supervisors, customers, vendors, and suppliers
Support production by monitoring automated inspection systems and validating results
Required Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED (technical school diploma preferred)
2+ years of hands-on experience in manufacturing and/or quality inspection
Qualified applicants should have a minimum of two years of experience in Quality and composites.
Experience using measuring instruments (micrometers, calipers, scales, etc.)
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
Familiarity with AS9102, FAI processes, and aerospace quality standards
Prior experience with internal audits and corrective action processes
