Job Title: Technical Designer
Location: Everett, WA, Seattle, WA and Renton, WA
Contract: 12+ Months
Job Description:
Position Responsibilities:
• Participates on Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) to integrate technical solutions across multiple disciplines.
• Support Preliminary Design Review (PDRs) and Critical Design Reviews (CDRs) meetings.
• Close coordination with design, manufacturing, and fabrication teams.
• Manage drafting requirements and incorporate drawing changes to support business goals.
• Support the development, maintenance or modification of systems, components and installation designs to meet requirements and specifications.
• Review design requirements and modifications of Mechanical & Structural assemblies and installations.
• Review Configuration Management Requirements for Compliance prior to releasing Lab test drawings.
• Work amongst cross-functional teams.
Required Skills:
• 1-3 years of experience with engineering and design software (i.e., CAD/3D packages (CATIA, SolidWorks, CREO, etc.)
• More than 2 years of experience working conceptual, preliminary, and detailed design, including 2D drawings and 3D deliverables
Preferred Skills:
• Experience working in multidisciplinary teams, a strong desire to work with technical and non-technical audiences, and be a self-starter.
• Experience in Test and Evaluation Engineering.
