JOB TITLE: Sr. Manufacturing & Quality Engineer
LOCATION: Mesa, AZ
PAY RATE: $60/hour

Summary:

    Balanced shop floor and desk presence

    Composite and metallic manufacturing process expertise

    Root cause analysis and corrective action leadership

    FAI, MWI, and drawing review proficiency

    GD&T and dimensional control mastery

    Cross-functional collaboration and communication

    Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to quality standards

Requirements:

    Bachelor s degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field

    10+ years of manufacturing quality engineering experience in the aerospace industry, including significant assembly experience on spacecraft and/or aircraft

    Subject Matter Expert (SME) level expertise in composite fabrication and metallic manufacturing processes

    Proven experience with First Article Inspections (AS9102), drawing reviews, and Manufacturing Work Instruction (MWI) development and approval

    Strong working knowledge and practical application of GD&T (ASME Y14.5)

    Extensive experience in Non-Conformance Report (NCR) dispositioning and Material Review Board (MRB) decision-making

    Demonstrated leadership in Root Cause & Corrective Action (RCCA), Corrective and Preventive Action (CAPA), and Corrective Action Board (CAB) processes

    Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to balance hands-on shop floor engagement and detailed engineering analysis

    Must be a U.S. Citizen (as defined by ITAR).

Preferred Qualifications:

    Experience in spacecraft manufacturing or launch vehicle integration

    Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification

    Hands-on experience with CMMs and advanced metrology systems

    Active or recent security clearance
