PDS Tech Commercial is partnering with a leader in the aerospace industry to hire a Supply Chain & Logistics Management Specialist for a fast-paced, mission-critical operation in Warner Robins, GA. In this role, you will directly support high-value Aircraft on Ground (AOG) and MICAP shipments, helping ensure aircraft readiness for a key U.S. defense customer. Your work will have a measurable impact on operational continuity, risk mitigation, and on-time delivery in a highly visible environment.
This is a 6-month full-time consultant role offering competitive pay and a unique second-shift schedule ideal for professionals who thrive in dynamic, time-sensitive operations.
Job Type: Full-Time Consultant (6 months)
Location: Warner Robins, GA
Pay Rate starting at: $31.77 per hour
Shift: Second Shift, 1:30 PM – 12:00 AM
Days: Wednesday through Saturday
Off: Sunday, Monday, Tuesday
Schedule: 10-hour shifts, 4 days per week
As a Supply Chain & Logistics Management Specialist, you will serve in a dual, cross-functional role supporting both transportation risk mitigation and customer order management for AOG MICAP operations. Daily responsibilities include:
Managing high-value AOG and MICAP shipments to support aircraft readiness
Initiating, processing, and completing AOG MICAP orders, including after-action requirements
Monitoring service provider performance and ensuring adherence to contractual obligations
Supporting transportation and logistics risk mitigation activities
Developing and improving logistics processes, strategies, and operational disciplines
Building strong collaborative relationships with internal stakeholders, service providers, and business partners
Providing daily operational oversight to ensure timely, compliant, and cost-effective logistics execution
Supply chain or logistics experience or working knowledge
3–5 years of related experience in supply chain, logistics, or transportation
Ability to work second shift and be available for all required shifts
Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
Team-oriented mindset with the ability to perform in time-critical situations
This position requires use of information or access to facilities subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or Export Administration Regulations (EAR). These regulations may limit access of controlled technologies: 1) to U.S. Persons, including U.S. Citizens, lawful permanent residents, and other narrow categories including refugees and asylees, or 2) to certain foreign nationals that have received an export license.
Experience supporting AOG, MICAP, or other time-sensitive logistics operations
Experience working with high-value or regulated shipments
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
