PDS Tech Commercial is partnering with a leader in the aerospace industry to hire a highly experienced Structural Analysis Engineer to support advanced airframe design and certification programs in Everett, WA. In this role, you will apply deep technical expertise in aircraft stress analysis to ensure structures meet all strength, durability, fail-safety, and damage tolerance requirements throughout the aircraft lifecycle. Your work will directly influence aircraft safety, regulatory compliance, and long-term performance.
This is a 9-month full-time consulting opportunity designed for senior-level engineers who thrive in complex, high-visibility aerospace environments.

Location: Everett, WA (Washington Design Center)
Schedule: Monday–Friday | First Shift, 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM
Pay Rate Starting at: $80.76 per hour
As a Structural Analysis Engineer, you will be responsible for validating and certifying aircraft structures using advanced analytical techniques. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
Coordinating with cross-functional engineering teams to define structural environments and design requirements
Supporting product design by performing aircraft stress analysis using analytical methods, finite element models, and simulations
Analyzing metallic and/or composite aircraft structures to ensure compliance with strength, durability, fail-safety, and damage tolerance requirements
Supporting multiple analysis commodities, including fuselage, wing/empennage, propulsion structures, systems stress, interiors stress, and seats stress
Defining, documenting, and substantiating certification and test results for customer and regulatory approval
Providing technical guidance and working under minimal direction in a fast-paced engineering environment
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, Aeronautical, Civil, or Structural Engineering
12+ years of experience in aircraft structural or stress analysis
Strong working knowledge of aircraft structural analysis methods and tools
Experience with metallic and/or composite aircraft structures
Ability to work independently while managing complex technical deliverables
This position requires use of information or access to facilities subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or Export Administration Regulations (EAR). These regulations may limit access of controlled technologies: 1) to U.S. Persons, including U.S. Citizens, lawful permanent residents, and other narrow categories including refugees and asylees, or 2) to certain foreign nationals that have received an export license.
Experience supporting commercial aircraft certification programs
Advanced degree (Master’s or PhD) in an engineering discipline
Familiarity with finite element modeling and advanced simulation tools
Experience working across multiple aircraft structural commodities
Education and experience typically acquired through an accredited Bachelor’s degree and 9+ years of related experience
Equivalent combinations of advanced degrees and experience will be considered
ABET-accredited degrees preferred but not required
