Location: Savannah, GA | Pay Rate: $25.66/hour | Schedule: 2nd Shift (3pm – 1:30 am) 

PDS Tech Commercial is partnering with a premier aerospace manufacturer to hire entry-level CNC Technicians who are ready to build a future in advanced manufacturing. This role is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a high-tech, automated machining environment while contributing to the production of critical aerospace components.

Your Impact 

As a CNC Technician, you will support the fabrication of precision aerospace parts by operating automated CNC machines under supervision. Your work directly contributes to safety, quality, and performance standards that define the aerospace industry. 

What You’ll Do 

Day-to-day responsibilities include: 

• Operating automated CNC machines using existing programs under supervision 

• Removing and replacing cutting tools and offsets as required 

• Inspecting tool condition and replacing tools when needed 

• Inspecting raw material and finished parts to ensure conformance with blueprints, models, and engineering documents 

• Identifying materials and selecting appropriate cutting tools 

• Setting up materials and inspecting them for serviceability 

• Monitoring material supply to support continuous operations 

• Performing preventative maintenance validations and minor machine repairs 

• Notifying maintenance of repair or preventative issues 

• Maintaining a clean, safe, and organized work environment 

• Complying with 5S standards and Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) requirements 

• Performing other duties as assigned 

What We’re Looking For 

Required Qualifications 

• High School Diploma or GED 

• Entry-level candidates welcome 

• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English 

• Basic mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn 

• Ability to follow procedures and work safely in a manufacturing environment 

Preferred Qualifications 

• Experience in an automated manufacturing or CNC environment 

• Familiarity with shop math, shop theory, and machining concepts 

• Exposure to blueprints, engineering drawings, or technical documentation 

• Interest in long-term growth within aerospace manufacturing
