Schedule: Monday–Friday | 2nd Shift
Pay Rate: $19.50/hour ($18.50/hr + $1.00/hr shift differential)
PDS Tech Commercial is partnering with a global leader in the aerospace industry to find skilled Manufacturing Technicians who are ready to play a hands-on role in building and maintaining high-performance mechanical systems. In this role, your work directly supports the quality, safety, and reliability of aerospace components that power critical missions.
As a Manufacturing Technician, you’ll be a key contributor on the production floor, working with advanced tools, equipment, and teams to ensure precision and performance.
Key Responsibilities Include:
Operate production equipment to construct, maintain, and test mechanical and electromechanical systems and assemblies
Follow blueprints, diagrams, and work instructions to meet exact specifications and tolerances
Perform troubleshooting, calibrations, and modifications on hardware, fixtures, and software
Use measuring and diagnostic tools to test, adjust, and validate components and systems
Maintain accurate production records, including time changes, test data, and parts usage
Utilize mechanical, optical, and computer-based equipment, including lasers
Rework and repair assemblies as needed to meet quality standards
Provide technical input and solutions to engineering teams
Support prototype builds and assist with component design when needed
Train and mentor new technicians as assigned
Adhere to all EHS, Quality, and Continuous Improvement standards
Work extended shifts or overtime as required by business needs
Manufacturing, assembly, or production experience
Experience using small hand tools and basic measuring equipment
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and technical instructions
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
Ability to accurately document work and follow standard procedures
This position requires use of information or access to facilities subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or Export Administration Regulations (EAR). These regulations may limit access of controlled technologies: 1) to U.S. Persons, including U.S. Citizens, lawful permanent residents, and other narrow categories including refugees and asylees, or 2) to certain foreign nationals that have received an export license.
Experience with mechanical or electromechanical assemblies
Familiarity with calibration, troubleshooting, or repair of production equipment
Experience working in aerospace, aviation, or regulated manufacturing environments
Willingness to cross-train and earn certifications in multiple skill areas
