JOB TITLE: Sr. Mechanical Design Engineer
LOCATION: Tulsa, OK
PAY RATE: $65/hour

Qualifying Questions:

Summary:
Structural and mechanical design for aerospace applications
ASIC, FPGA, or component integration and testing (if applicable)
Conduct supplier audits and quality inspections (AS9100/AS9102 compliance)
Investigate nonconforming materials and lead root-cause analysis
Implement corrective/preventive actions (RCCA/8D)
Review technical documentation, manufacturing plans, and configuration management
Collaborate with engineering, procurement, and program teams
Provide guidance and support to junior engineers
Requirements:
Bachelor s degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, or a related Engineering field
10+ years of aerospace engineering experience (Boeing product experience strongly preferred)
Expertise in structural and mechanical design for aerospace applications
ABET-accredited Engineering degree.
Strong understanding of FAA regulations and aerospace standards
Travel: Approximately 25 50% to supplier sites
Must be a U.S. Citizen (as defined by ITAR).
Desired Skills:
Experience with composite materials and advanced manufacturing techniques
Familiarity with stress analysis and finite element modeling
Prior involvement in design certification processes
