PDS Tech Commercial is partnering with a world-class leader in the aerospace industry to hire a Government Property Management Specialist in San Antonio, TX. In this highly visible role, you will ensure government and company property is accurately tracked, protected, and managed in full compliance with federal regulations and contractual requirements. Your work directly supports operational readiness, audit success, and the integrity of aerospace programs that serve national and global missions.

Job Type: Full-Time Consultant (6-month assignment)
Location: San Antonio, TX (100% onsite)
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 1st Shift: 5:00 AM–2:30 PM
Pay Rate Starting at: $34.50 per hour
Administer contract provisions governing acquisition, control, use, care, reporting, and disposition of company and government property
Establish and maintain accurate property records from initial acquisition through final disposition
Utilize company systems and off-the-shelf software to manage and communicate property data
Conduct physical inventories using sighting, scanning, sampling, and exception reporting methods
Reconcile inventory results and process inventory adjustments, loss reports, and liability determinations
Support internal and external audits by documenting processes and procedures
Investigate, document, and report lost or damaged property
Ensure compliance with FAR, DFARS, customer contracts, and corporate policies
Coordinate and perform property disposition activities including transfer, scrap, sale, or reclamation
Assist with property closeout activities at contract completion or termination
Collaborate with internal customers and cross-functional teams on property-related issues
1+ year of experience managing Government or Capital Property
Ability to operate a forklift
Physically able to lift 35 lbs or more
Strong attention to detail and commitment to compliance
Reliable, regular, and predictable attendance
This position requires a security clearance, and candidates are required to be U.S. Citizens.
1+ year of experience with GOLD (Government Online Data)
2+ years of experience with Lean processes and initiatives
Background mentoring or supporting coworkers
Strong team collaboration skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Education and experience typically acquired through advanced education (Bachelor’s preferred) and 3+ years of related experience
Equivalent combinations accepted (e.g., Master’s + 1 year experience or 7+ years related experience)
