About the Role

PDS Tech Commercial is seeking a detail-driven Cycle Counter to support inventory accuracy for a leading aerospace organization in Lenexa, KS. In this role, your precision and accountability will directly impact production flow, shipping accuracy, and operational excellence in a highly regulated aerospace environment.

This is a full-time, first-shift consultant role (6-month contract, temp-to-perm) with consistent hours and expected overtime.

Position Details

• Job Type: Full-Time | Consultant (6 months, Temp-to-Perm)

• Location: Lenexa, KS 66219

• Schedule: Monday–Friday | 1st Shift: 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM (30-minute lunch)

• Pay Rate: $19–$21 per hour 

• This position requires use of information or access to facilities subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or Export Administration Regulations (EAR). These regulations may limit access of controlled technologies: 1) to U.S. Persons, including U.S. Citizens, lawful permanent residents, and other narrow categories including refugees and asylees, or 2) to certain foreign nationals that have received an export license.                                               
   

What You’ll Do

• Perform regular cycle counts to verify inventory accuracy

• Verify item quantity and condition

• Maintain accurate inventory records using barcodes and computerized inventory systems

• Execute stock transactions within inventory management systems

• Support shipping, receiving, order pulling, and kitting/picking as needed

• Ensure inventory accuracy that supports daily aerospace manufacturing operations

Required Qualifications

• 2–3 years of direct cycle counting experience (required)

• Some experience pulling orders

• Shipping and receiving experience strongly preferred

• High attention to detail and accuracy

• Ability to perform basic math calculations

• Ability to read and follow simple written and verbal instructions

• Basic computer and data entry skills

• Education: High School Diploma or GED required

• In lieu of diploma/GED: minimum 4 years of relevant experience

Physical Requirements

• Constant standing

• Frequent lifting up to 25 lbs

• Occasional lifting up to 50 lbs

Additional Requirements

• Reliable transportation

• Reliable attendance — punctuality is critical

• Valid driver’s license

• Willingness to work overtime as needed
