Qualifying Questions:

Summary:

Define requirements for materials, parts, and processes used in manufacturing

Develop specifications and documentation to support deployment of materials, parts, and processes

Ensure compliance with contractual and regulatory requirements

Promote standardization across business activities

Evaluate emerging technologies for potential business application

Develop, qualify, and integrate new materials, parts, and processes

Manage supplier qualification testing and audit programs

Analyze material, part, and process failures and implement corrective and preventive actions

Design, develop, and qualify computer and production systems to meet user requirements

Work under general direction

Maintain regular and predictable attendance

Support testing for newly delivered and in-production aircraft

Conduct materials-related testing and analysis

Analyze data and compile reports

Perform computer-based work as a primary responsibility

Requirements:

Bachelor s with 5+ years, Master s with 3+ years, or PhD in an engineering discipline

Experience with materials operations and testing

Strong analytical skills with experience conducting testing and reporting results

Must be a U.S. Citizen (as defined by ITAR).
