JOB TITLE: Composite Fabrication Specialists
LOCATION: Salt Lake City, UT
PAY RATE: $29/hour

Qualifying Questions:

Summary:

Perform composite lay-up, fabrication, and assembly tasks

Assemble precision mechanical and electro-mechanical components

Assemble and install wire harnesses and avionics products

Perform basic organic chemical conversion and paint preparation

Apply routine organic coatings for corrosion protection and appearance requirements

Work on articles of moderate complexity using established drawings and specifications

Requirements:

Education and experience typically acquired through basic education (e.g., high school diploma or GED)

Must be a U.S. Citizen (as defined by ITAR).

Willingness to work variable shifts, including weekends and overtime as needed

Ability to perform physical activities such as climbing, bending, kneeling, and lifting

Ability to lift and carry up to 35 lbs

Preferred Skills:

1+ year of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience

3+ months of experience in aerospace, fabrication, or manufacturing

Experience working with safety, quality, and manufacturing performance metrics

Familiarity with Lean principles, including Continuous Improvement, Standard Work, and 5S
