PDS Tech Commercial is partnering with a leader in the aerospace industry to find skilled Fabrication Specialists who are passionate about hands-on work and high-quality craftsmanship. In this role, you’ll play a critical part in building and assembling aerospace structures that support cutting-edge aviation and space programs. Your attention to detail, commitment to safety, and ability to follow complex drawings will directly impact products that take flight around the world.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities
As a Fabrication Specialist, you will work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment where precision and quality matter:

• Perform composite lay-up, fabrication, and assembly tasks

• Assemble precision mechanical and electro-mechanical components

• Assemble and install wire harnesses and avionics products

• Perform basic organic chemical conversion and paint preparation

• Apply routine organic coatings for corrosion protection and appearance

• Work on articles of moderate complexity using established drawings and production requirements

• Follow all safety, quality, and production standards

• Maintain regular and predictable attendance

Required Qualifications

• Willingness to work variable shifts, including weekends and overtime as needed

• Ability to perform physical activities such as climbing, bending, kneeling, and lifting

• Ability to lift and carry up to 35 lbs

• Comfortable working with hand and power tools

• Ability to read and understand blueprints and production orders

Preferred Qualifications

• 1+ year of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience

• 3+ months of experience in Aerospace, Fabrication, or Manufacturing

• Experience working with safety, quality, and manufacturing performance data

• Familiarity with Lean Principles (Continuous Improvement, Standard Work, and 5S)
