Location: Phoenix, AZ | Schedule: 6am to 2:30pm | Payrate: $22/hour
Role Summary
PDS Tech Commercial is partnering with a premier aerospace industry leader to hire an Electrician who will play a vital role in ensuring the reliability and performance of critical electronic systems. Working onsite in a production and test environment, you’ll test, troubleshoot, and validate electronic units that directly support aerospace operations and safety. This role offers steady first-shift hours with opportunities for overtime based on business needs.
Schedule: 1st Shift, Monday–Friday | 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM | Location: Phoenix, AZ | Payrate: $22/hour
What You’ll Do Day to Day
Test a variety of electronic units using prescribed test procedures
Set up and operate automated and manual test stands
Interpret, document, and record test results accurately
Identify, isolate, and report test equipment failures
Use diagnostic tools to troubleshoot electronic units down to the sub-assembly and component level
Read and interpret engineering prints, schematics, and other technical documentation
Communicate work status effectively with team members and support functions such as engineering and maintenance
Apply working knowledge of electronic circuitry and electrical components
Maintain accurate technical documentation and reporting
Required Qualifications
Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English
Ability to read and interpret technical data, schematics, and engineering documentation
Understanding of electronic circuitry and electrical components
Ability to write clear and concise technical documentation
Proficiency with computers and Microsoft Office applications
Willingness to work onsite and support overtime as business needs require
This position requires use of information or access to facilities subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or Export Administration Regulations (EAR). Preferred Qualifications
Prior experience testing or troubleshooting electronic or electrical units
Experience working in a manufacturing, production, or aerospace environment
Familiarity with automated and manual test equipment
