Schedule: Monday–Friday | Flexible core hours: 7–4, 8–5, 8:30–5:30, or 9–6

We are hiring a Mechanical Engineer III to take on complex, high-impact engineering challenges that directly support clean combustion services and power plant modernization.
As a Mechanical Engineer III, you will lead and execute advanced mechanical engineering assignments involving the design, analysis, and evaluation of complex systems and components. Working with limited direction, you’ll apply innovative techniques, collaborate across disciplines, and help drive operational improvements that enhance customer satisfaction and system performance—particularly within pressure part engineering and boiler systems.
Your work will directly support cleaner, safer, and more efficient power generation.
Design, analyze, and evaluate complex mechanical systems, products, and components requiring advanced technical expertise.
Develop and apply sophisticated models, simulations, and analytical tools to solve challenging engineering problems.
Serve as a technical lead or principal investigator on engineering studies, failure investigations, and solution development.
Prepare and review technical reports, recommendations, specifications, proposals, and safety or licensing documentation.
Conduct economic and technical feasibility studies to support customer and business decisions.
Represent the engineering group in meetings, customer engagements, and technical reviews; resolve significant technical issues.
Provide technical direction and limited administrative guidance to junior engineers or engineering assistants as needed.
Support Clean Combustion Services for the boiler market, including pressure part materials, upgrades, and comprehensive power plant assessments.
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering field.
5–8 years of relevant engineering experience, or an equivalent combination of education, experience, and demonstrated accomplishments.
Strong expertise in mechanical design, analysis, and problem-solving for complex systems.
Ability to work independently with limited direction while collaborating effectively across teams.
Experience with pressure part engineering, boilers, or power generation systems.
Familiarity with advanced modeling, simulation, and analytical software tools.
Experience supporting customer-facing engineering solutions in the energy or power industry.
