Supply Chain Management Analyst
Keep Aerospace Programs Moving: Supply Chain Management Analyst | 2nd Shift
PDS Tech Commercial is partnering with a premier leader in the aerospace industry to hire a Supply Chain Management Analyst who will play a vital role in keeping complex production programs on track. In this position, you’ll apply supply chain planning and change management decisions that directly impact production flow, inventory health, and on-time delivery—supporting mission-critical aerospace operations.
Apply supply chain management (SCM) methodologies to develop optimal planning and change solutions
Coordinate across customer support, contract administration, purchasing, engineering, quality, traffic, warehousing, suppliers, and customers
Incorporate Bills of Material (BOMs) and schedules into effective production plans
Verify released engineering BOMs are accurately implemented in the material planning system
Coordinate part number attributes and maintain accurate planning data
Release and maintain production and material orders
Document, track, and resolve order delinquencies
Monitor and report schedule adherence issues
Apply planning solutions to inventory strategies
Analyze, disposition, and manage excess and obsolete inventory
Create and maintain schedules for products and services
Support and coordinate continuous process improvement initiatives
Perform responsibilities under general supervision while contributing to team success
Bachelor’s degree and typically 3+ years of related supply chain or planning experience
OR
Master’s degree and typically 1+ year of related experience
OR
An equivalent combination of education and experience
Working knowledge of supply chain planning, production scheduling, and inventory management
Strong coordination and communication skills across cross-functional teams
This position requires use of information or access to facilities subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or Export Administration Regulations (EAR). These regulations may limit access of controlled technologies: 1) to U.S. Persons, including U.S. Citizens, lawful permanent residents, and other narrow categories including refugees and asylees, or 2) to certain foreign nationals that have received an export license.
Experience in aerospace, manufacturing, or highly regulated environments
Familiarity with BOM structures, material planning systems, and production control
Experience analyzing inventory and resolving excess or obsolete material
Continuous improvement or process optimization experience
