Job Type: Full-Time Consultant (12 months)
Schedule: Monday–Friday | First Shift, 5:30 AM–2:00 PM
Pay Rate Starting at: $28.06 per hour
Partner: PDS Tech Commercial supporting a leader in the aerospace industry
Attendance: Regular and predictable attendance is required
PDS Tech Commercial is partnering with a global aerospace leader to support Commercial Airplanes within the Integrated AeroStructures (IAS) team. As a Supply Chain Management Analyst, you will play a critical role in ensuring materials flow smoothly across all airplane programs. Your work will directly impact production continuity, inventory optimization, and on-time delivery—helping enable the manufacture of safe, efficient, and high-quality aircraft.
You will collaborate with experienced supply chain professionals to analyze data, solve complex material challenges, and drive decisions that keep aerospace programs on track.
Incorporate change and planning decisions to develop optimal supply chain solutions
Apply Supply Chain Management methodologies to coordinate global supply chains
Analyze complex material requirements and production needs
Interpret and incorporate Bills of Material and schedules into production plans
Initiate, coordinate, and authorize order releases based on system requirements and resource availability
Ensure on-time delivery and resolve order delinquencies
Report schedule adherence issues and support corrective actions
Develop, control, and optimize inventory plans
Analyze and disposition excess inventory
Initiate audits and support compliance activities
Develop schedules for products and services
Assist with estimates and schedules for new business proposals
Implement process improvements and best practices to enhance SCM performance
Utilize databases and analytics tools; Tableau experience is highly desired
Work under general direction as part of a collaborative, motivated team
3+ years of experience in Supply Chain and/or Materials Management
3+ years of experience with supply chain forecasting
3+ years of experience interpreting Bills of Material
3+ years of experience using ERP systems (e.g., SAP or equivalent)
This position requires use of information or access to facilities subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or Export Administration Regulations (EAR). These regulations may limit access of controlled technologies: 1) to U.S. Persons, including U.S. Citizens, lawful permanent residents, and other narrow categories including refugees and asylees, or 2) to certain foreign nationals that have received an export license.
5+ years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
5+ years of experience working directly with suppliers or in supplier management
Typically 6+ years of related work experience or relevant military experience
Advanced degree (Bachelor’s, Master’s, or similar) preferred but not required
