Schedule: Monday–Friday | First Shift, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM
Pay Rate Starting at : $48.47 per hour

PDS Tech Commercial is partnering with a world-class aerospace leader to support a critical initiative within Commercial Airplanes Quality: QMS 2.0 – Commercial Airplane Process Simplification. As a Technical Writer, you will play a pivotal role in transforming complex quality and process documentation into clear, accessible, and easy-to-understand content used across all levels of the organization.
Your work will directly improve comprehension, consistency, and usability of enterprise-wide documents—helping teams work smarter, reduce ambiguity, and strengthen quality across aerospace programs.
Analyze existing quality and process documentation to assess readability and comprehension levels
Simplify complex technical requirements into clear, concise, user-focused content
Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to incorporate feedback, revisions, and best practices
Redesign documentation using structured writing architecture, including tables, figures, and visuals
Support multiple documents aligned to defined business process swim-lanes over a multi-year roadmap
Contribute to process improvements that standardize how documentation is written and maintained
Work as part of a collaborative team of approximately 25 professionals
3–5 years of direct technical writing experience
Aerospace industry experience
3–5 years of technical process knowledge in any discipline
Ability to translate complex technical content into clear, structured documentation
This position requires use of information or access to facilities subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or Export Administration Regulations (EAR). These regulations may limit access of controlled technologies: 1) to U.S. Persons, including U.S. Citizens, lawful permanent residents, and other narrow categories including refugees and asylees, or 2) to certain foreign nationals that have received an export license.
Familiarity with manufacturing and/or quality systems
Project management experience
Exposure to or familiarity with generative AI tools and concepts
Bachelor’s degree with typically 10+ years of related experience, or
Master’s degree with typically 8+ years of related experience, or
An equivalent combination of education and experience
