PDS Tech Commercial is partnering with a world-class aerospace leader to hire an Experienced Automated Tester to support Manufacturing Quality Information Technology systems. In this high-impact role, your testing expertise will help ensure the reliability, security, and performance of mission-critical applications that support aerospace manufacturing and quality operations.
This is a full-time, 12-month consulting opportunity offering competitive pay, cutting-edge technology, and the chance to work on complex systems that directly support aerospace excellence.
As an Automated Tester, you will lead and execute testing strategies for enterprise software applications, with a strong focus on Java and C# environments. You’ll be responsible for planning, executing, and analyzing tests across the software lifecycle, ensuring systems meet rigorous quality, safety, and regulatory standards. Your work will directly influence product quality, operational efficiency, and continuous improvement across aerospace manufacturing systems.
Lead test planning efforts, including test plans, configurations, and requirement decomposition
Define test requirements, environments, facilities, and configurations for both simple and complex test scenarios
Develop, review, and maintain test procedures, test cases, and configuration documentation
Participate in test readiness, safety, and formal test reviews
Stage test hardware and configure software for data acquisition and analysis
Create daily execution plans to optimize use of test resources
Lead test execution, data collection, and validation activities
Analyze test performance data, identify anomalies, and recommend corrective actions
Support failure investigations and perform special test procedures as needed
Prepare high-quality test reports and customer deliverables, ensuring accuracy and data integrity
Manage test assets, including data archival, refurbishment, and disposition
Capture lessons learned and performance metrics to continuously improve testing practices
5+ years of experience in software engineering
3+ years of experience in automated testing
1+ year of experience testing Java applications
1+ year of experience testing C# applications
1+ year of experience with AWS DevOps
1+ year of experience in Agile software engineering environments
1+ year of experience with AI code-assisted software engineering
Applicable educational or certification credentials from an accredited institution or equivalent experience
Experience as a Java Full Stack Developer
Experience as a C# Full Stack Developer
Education and experience are typically acquired through advanced technical education (e.g., Bachelor’s degree) and 5 or more years of related professional experience, or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience. Equivalent experience may include:
Master’s degree plus 3+ years of related work experience
PhD-level education
9+ years of related professional work experience
Schedule: Monday–Friday | First Shift (6:00 AM – 2:30 PM)

Employment Type: Full-time, 12-month Consultant
Pay Rate Starting at: $56.94 per hour
