Summary:

Power distribution and protection equipment

Perform simulation work to:

Assess system power quality

Characterize failure modes of equipment and the power system

Design and validate system protections

Support team members with technical requirements development.

Develop and document complex electric power system requirements.

Validate requirements through simulation and testing.

Requires previous electrical equipment systems design experience.

Strong knowledge of:

Electric power systems

Modeling and simulation tools

Model-based design and model-based systems engineering (MBSE)

Hands-on experience with modeling tools

Requirements:

Bachelor s degree + 5+ years engineering experience, OR Master s degree + 3+ years engineering experience, OR PhD with engineering experience.

Specialization in power systems, power electronics, or automatic controls.

Experience with modeling required.

Degree in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics, or chemistry from an accredited institution.

ABET accreditation preferred, not required.

Must be a U.S. Citizen (as defined by ITAR).
