JOB TITLE: Cable Inspector - 2nd Shift
LOCATION: Oldsmar, FL
PAY RATE: $26-30/hour

Qualifying Questions:

Summary:

Inspect cables using defined methods, operations, and specifications.

Utilize measuring devices (dial indicators, preset micrometers, scales, etc.).

Accept, reject, or rework defective/malfunctioning units or systems.

Review blueprints, diagrams, customer specifications, and inspection instructions.

Monitor and verify quality using statistical process control or other procedures.

Communicate quality issues with assemblers, engineers, and management.

Perform assembly tasks related to assigned inspection areas as needed.

Requirements:

High School Diploma or GED

Computer Operations

Basic Computer Skills

Blueprint Reading

IPC-WHMA-A-620

Wire Harness Print Reading

Visual Inspection

Strong background in cable manufacturing and inspection.

Experience with solder and crimp inspection using IPC-A-620 standards.

Ability to interpret drawings, diagrams, parts lists, IPC manuals, and work instructions.

Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Ability to work effectively with assemblers, technicians, engineers, customers, and management.

Proficient with computers and modern software applications.

Must be able to read and write English.

No degree required.

Must pass a medical screening exam per supplier guidelines.

Must be a U.S. Citizen (as defined by ITAR).
