PDS Tech Commercial is seeking an Aerospace Products Repair/Modification Technician to support a highly respected aerospace partner in Jacksonville, NC. In this role, you will be a key contributor to the modification, repair, and maintenance of MV-22 aircraft systems—directly supporting mission capability, flight safety, and operational excellence.
Your expertise will help ensure that systems are upgraded, faults are corrected, and every component meets or exceeds the stringent aerospace standards required for service.
Assemble, disassemble, modify, and upgrade aerospace vehicle components to correct failures or implement engineering changes.
Oversee and coordinate assembly, disassembly, and overhaul processes to ensure accuracy, compliance, and quality.
Troubleshoot complex pneumatic, hydraulic, electrical, and avionics systems to isolate and repair faults.
Perform functional, diagnostic, validation, and verification testing using bench and automated test equipment.
Remove and replace components for repair, testing, and serviceability.
Document repairs, test results, modifications, and inspection findings in accordance with regulatory and contractual requirements.
Inspect components for cleanliness, serviceability, and flightworthiness.
Identify and report discrepancies, working with engineering to resolve issues.
Perform and verify aircraft modifications to support product delivery requirements.
Support training activities and operate under general direction with a high level of independence.
Work on MV-22 Modification & Maintenance Teams.
Apply expertise in V-22 aircraft maintenance, repair, and modification—particularly in Electrical/Avionics or Airframes systems.
Follow standard aircraft maintenance practices including FOD control, tool control, and safety protocols.
Hands-on experience with V-22 Maintenance and Modification.
High school diploma or GED plus 4+ years of related experience, or equivalent education/experience combination.
Strong understanding of aerospace maintenance practices and documentation requirements.
This position requires use of information or access to facilities subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or Export Administration Regulations (EAR). These regulations may limit access of controlled technologies: 1) to U.S. Persons, including U.S. Citizens, lawful permanent residents, and other narrow categories including refugees and asylees, or 2) to certain foreign nationals that have received an export license.
FAA Airframe and Powerplant License.
Quality Assurance experience.
Extensive depot-level modification experience.
Vocational school, associate degree, or higher education in a related field is beneficial.
