Savannah, GA | Full-Time | Consultant (6 Months) | $30/Hour | M–F | 7:30 AM–4:00 PM
PDS Tech Commercial is seeking a Procurement and Planning Associate to support a premier aerospace partner in Savannah, GA. In this role, you will play a critical part in strengthening the supply chain by ensuring timely procurement, maintaining supplier relationships, and assisting with production and inventory planning. Your contributions will directly support on-time delivery, efficient operations, and continued program success.
Support day-to-day site operations for procurement and master production scheduling.
Execute all purchasing activities, including soliciting quotes, issuing purchase orders, sourcing suppliers, and managing end-to-end procurement processes.
Negotiate pricing, delivery terms, and schedules with suppliers to ensure the best value.
Compile data, generate reports, and support KPI tracking to drive informed decision-making.
Build and maintain strong working relationships with internal teams—engineering, quality, production, purchasing, logistics, finance—and external suppliers.
Ensure compliance with supply chain policies, trade regulations, quality standards, and ethical guidelines.
Coordinate material requirements and support production schedules by expediting orders, resolving shortages, and enabling on-time delivery.
Assist with Materials Planning and SIOP activities to align supply with customer demand.
Participate in cross-functional meetings, training, and special assignments as needed to support business needs.
Diploma and/or bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Materials Management, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience).
1–2 years of experience with MS Office, especially Excel.
Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Buyer, Purchaser, Planner, Expediter, or similar role.
Ability to interpret engineering prints, product specifications, and material requirements.
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate cross-functionally.
Strong analytical capability, attention to detail, and comfort in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency with ERP/MRP systems.
This position requires use of information or access to facilities subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or Export Administration Regulations (EAR). These regulations may limit access of controlled technologies: 1) to U.S. Persons, including U.S. Citizens, lawful permanent residents, and other narrow categories including refugees and asylees, or 2) to certain foreign nationals that have received an export license.
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Materials Management, Business Administration, or related field.
4–5 years of directly related industry experience.
