PDS Tech Commercial is seeking a dedicated Assembler to support a leading aerospace organization. This is your opportunity to be part of a team that plays an essential role in preparing, protecting, and maintaining aircraft components during critical stages of production.

Role Summary

As an Assembler, you will perform essential structural and mechanical production tasks that ensure aircraft systems and components are protected, clean, and built to the highest quality standards. Your work directly impacts the safety, integrity, and performance of every aircraft that moves through the facility.

What You’ll Do

• Perform basic production assembly tasks on structural and mechanical assemblies, subassemblies, aircraft systems, and equipment.

• Complete a New Hire Training Cycle Flow to meet daily product protection standards.

• Receive and execute daily cleaning and protection assignments on and around aircraft.

• Walk the aircraft continuously to inspect, identify, and resolve areas requiring cleaning or protection.

• Ensure all work meets FAA regulations and company quality management standards.

• Contribute to new product protection projects, including building new tools.

• Wear required protective gear and follow all safety procedures.

• Operate ladders, scissor lifts, aerial lifts, and other mechanical equipment.

• Perform physical tasks such as climbing, bending, kneeling, reaching overhead, twisting, crawling, crouching, and lifting up to 35 lbs.

• Work around energized sources and in high-noise environments.

• Set up and validate jigs and tooling.

• Install and remove fasteners using appropriate tools.

Required Qualifications

• Ability to work any shift based on business needs.

• Ability to meet the physical requirements of the role (bending, climbing, lifting 10–35 lbs, standing, overhead reaching, etc.).

• Prior experience cleaning and protecting parts or areas in a manufacturing environment.
  
  This position requires use of information or access to facilities subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or Export Administration Regulations (EAR). These regulations may limit access of controlled technologies: 1) to U.S. Persons, including U.S. Citizens, lawful permanent residents, and other narrow categories including refugees and asylees, or 2) to certain foreign nationals that have received an export license.                                               
   

Preferred Qualifications

• General custodial experience with strong attention to detail.

• Passion for maintaining high levels of cleanliness and protection for critical aerospace components.

• Ability to work effectively in confined spaces.

Technical Skills

• Ability to read velocity work orders to determine necessary protection tasks.

• Basic familiarity with Excel and PowerPoint to understand needs presented in meetings.

• Ability to navigate action tracker systems and close out required tasks.
