PDS Tech Commercial is hiring a talented Assembler to support a premier leader in the aerospace industry. In this hands-on, high-impact role, you’ll help build and refine advanced mechanical assemblies that directly support innovative aerospace product lines.
As an Assembler, you will support engineering development activities by fabricating, installing, troubleshooting, and repairing structural and mechanical components. Your craftsmanship will help turn engineering concepts into reality and ensure every assembly meets the highest standards of quality and performance.
Fabricate and assemble components using standard hand tools, power tools, and precision instruments.
Perform mechanical assembly tasks including heavy structure drill-outs, bonding, fastener installation, wire harness routing, and component installation.
Build, modify, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical and structural assemblies.
Execute work using engineering instructions, work orders, drawings, computer models, and established processes.
Maintain accurate records of completed work, inspections, and non-conformances.
Collaborate with engineers on design updates and process improvements.
Ensure strict compliance with all safety, quality, and configuration control standards.
Regular and predictable attendance is required.
Technical diploma, associate degree, or equivalent experience in aircraft maintenance, machine trades, or manufacturing technologies.
Experience working with composites, sheet metal, titanium, riveting, fastening, wiring, tubing, and basic machining.
Ability to read and interpret drawings, blueprints, and technical documentation.
Proficient with tools such as torque wrenches, countersinks, drills, deburring tools, and calibrated instruments.
Strong problem-solving skills and exceptional attention to detail.
Effective communicator able to work collaboratively with engineers and team members.
This position requires use of information or access to facilities subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or Export Administration Regulations (EAR). These regulations may limit access of controlled technologies: 1) to U.S. Persons, including U.S. Citizens, lawful permanent residents, and other narrow categories including refugees and asylees, or 2) to certain foreign nationals that have received an export license.
Certifications such as A&P or other specialized training.
Prior experience in aerospace assembly environments.
Additional technical coursework or mechanical training.
