Continuous Improvement Engineer
Location: Onsite, Fort Worth, TX
Schedule: 1st Shift | 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
Pay: $50.00 – $70.00 per hour
PDS Tech Commercial is hiring a Continuous Improvement Engineer to support a world-class aviation leader. In this role, you’ll drive high-value continuous improvement initiatives that streamline office-based processes, enhance operational efficiency, and embed a culture of Lean excellence across engineering and certification functions. Your work will directly influence quality, workflow performance, and organizational success.
As a Continuous Improvement Engineer, you will lead and execute process-improvement efforts that support smarter, faster, and more effective ways of working.
Continuous Improvement & Process Optimization
Lead, coordinate, and facilitate Kaizen events, workshops, and improvement projects.
Conduct root-cause analyses to uncover inefficiencies and identify process-enhancement opportunities.
Develop and implement standardized work procedures, templates, and documentation.
Monitor and validate the sustainability and effectiveness of implemented improvements.
Coach teams in CI methodologies and support them in executing their improvement ideas.
Collect and analyze performance metrics to measure gains in accuracy, efficiency, and workflow quality.
Create reports, dashboards, and presentations to communicate results, cost savings, and KPIs.
Provide regular updates on progress, challenges, and outcomes to management and key stakeholders.
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Operations Management, or related field (or equivalent experience).
Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt, Green Belt, or similar certification.
Experience with continuous improvement, Lean principles, or process optimization—preferably in an office or administrative environment.
Strong problem-solving skills and proficiency with CI tools (Value Stream Mapping, Causal Analysis, 5 Whys, PDCA, SIPOC, etc.).
Experience facilitating training, workshops, or improvement sessions.
Familiarity with product lifecycle management tools such as Enovia.
Proven success leading measurable process improvement initiatives.
Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or higher.
Experience supporting engineering, certification, or technical business functions.
Strong communication skills with the ability to influence cross-functional teams.
