Pay Rate Starting at: $68.50 per hour-$85.00 | Schedule: Monday–Friday, 1st Shift (8 AM–5 PM)
PDS Tech Commercial is seeking a highly skilled Design and Analysis Engineer to support a global aerospace leader known for groundbreaking engineering and next-generation aircraft development. In this role, you will drive critical requirements management and validation/verification work that ensures the safety, performance, and reliability of complex aerospace systems.
As a key contributor to the engineering team, you will lead V&V (Validation & Verification) activities in alignment with ARP4754A, oversee Tier 2–3 requirements, and maintain configuration control for Cardfile Core systems. Your work will directly impact program success, system integrity, and regulatory compliance across major development efforts.
Execute V&V activities in accordance with ARP4754A standards.
Perform functional definition, requirements capture, validation, and implementation verification for Tier 2–3 requirements.
Manage Cardfile Core requirements and configuration control, ensuring accuracy and traceability.
Ensure all requirements management and V&V work complies with internal and external regulatory standards.
Make technical decisions regarding requirements definition, validation, verification, and configuration management.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure clear, complete, and validated requirements.
Support PAR/DAR activities related to requirements V&V.
Bachelor’s degree + 9+ years of experience, OR
Master’s degree + 7+ years of experience, OR
PhD + 4+ years of experience
Degree must be in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, or Chemistry from an accredited program.
Strong background in requirements management, V&V, and configuration control.
Direct experience working within ARP4754A development environments.
This position requires use of information or access to facilities subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or Export Administration Regulations (EAR). These regulations may limit access of controlled technologies: 1) to U.S. Persons, including U.S. Citizens, lawful permanent residents, and other narrow categories including refugees and asylees, or 2) to certain foreign nationals that have received an export license.
Experience supporting Tier 2–3 requirements for complex aerospace systems
Background in systems engineering or similar discipline
Strong analytical, documentation, and communication skills
Ability to work cross-functionally across engineering and program teams
