Lead Digital Innovation in Aerospace — Program Management (Digital Technology)

PDS Tech Commercial is partnering with an industry leader to hire a seasoned Program Management professional supporting the Digital Technology organization. This high-impact role offers the opportunity to influence financial strategy, improve operational efficiency, and support digital initiatives that are transforming the aerospace and defense industry.

Role Summary

As a Program Management Consultant, you will serve as a trusted financial and program partner to Digital Technology (DT) leadership. You’ll drive planning, forecasting, and financial analysis for digital initiatives—ensuring leadership has the insights needed to achieve operating plans, improve performance, and support long-term strategic goals.

What You’ll Do Day to Day

• Partner with Digital Technology leadership and finance teams to manage planning, actuals, and forecasting

• Compile, analyze, and report DT spend while forecasting future costs and resource needs

• Support month-end close activities and ongoing forecast updates

• Analyze financial results and provide insights to drive short- and long-term improvements

• Support the Annual Operating Plan (AOP) and Long-Range Planning processes

• Monitor headcount, capital investments, and operating expenses

• Identify and lead continuous improvement initiatives across financial and program processes

• Maintain effective internal controls and ensure compliance with SOX, USG accounting, and trade regulations

• Collaborate across a highly matrixed organization, including finance, program leaders, and stakeholders

Required Qualifications

• Advanced knowledge of financial planning and analysis, gained through education and experience

• Experience analyzing, interpreting, and presenting complex financial data to leadership

• Finance experience supporting FP&A in a matrixed organization

• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint

• This position requires use of information or access to facilities subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or Export Administration Regulations (EAR). These regulations may limit access of controlled technologies: 1) to U.S. Persons, including U.S. Citizens, lawful permanent residents, and other narrow categories including refugees and asylees, or 2) to certain foreign nationals that have received an export license.                                               
   

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience with 8+ years of relevant professional experience

• Prior SAP experience

• Demonstrated leadership or program ownership experience

• Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills

• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment

• Self-motivated, deadline-driven, and comfortable working with minimal oversight
