Summary:
Coordinate and expedite the flow of materials, parts, and assemblies across departments to meet production and shipping schedules.
Review production schedules and work with supervisors to identify required, missing, or overdue materials.
Requisition materials and set delivery sequences based on job priorities and material availability.
Arrange in-plant transfers to support production timelines.
Coordinate repair, assembly, and transportation of materials between departments.
Verify materials delivered to production areas match specifications.
Monitor and control material movement, including conveyor operations if applicable.
Calculate material requirements for job orders using knowledge of products and processes.
Maintain reports on material quantities, types, and locations.
Move materials using hand trucks or industrial equipment.
Maintain production and material records using manual or computerized systems.
Support operations with part movement, inventory validation, warehouse tasks, and system updates.
Requirements:
High School Diploma or GED
Ability to use warehouse equipment
Willing to support rotating shifts
2 3 years of stockroom or crib-procedure experience
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
2 3 years of experience with computer-based inventory or warehouse management systems
Reliable, regular, and predictable attendance
Ascend/descend ladders; work in confined spaces; lift up to 35 lbs (heavier loads require two-person lift).
Ability to work on elevated platforms and in noisy environments.
Use required PPE (face, eyes, ears, hands, arms).
Pass visual acuity and color-perception tests.
Read, write, and comprehend English.
Handle and dispose of hazardous materials properly.
Maintain required certifications and training.
Frequent: overhead reaching, walking, standing, balancing on ladders/uneven surfaces, exposure to noise.
Occasional: finger manipulation, climbing ladders (3 12 ft), crawling, squatting, bending/stooping, lying down, operating foot controls, contact with metals.
Ability to stand and move for extended periods.
Safety shoes and eye protection required.
Must be a U.S. Citizen (as defined by ITAR).
