JOB TITLE: Avionics Technician
LOCATION: Greenville, SC
PAY RATE: $32-38/hour

We are a national aerospace and defense staffing agency seeking highly qualified candidates for a position with a top-tier client.

Summary:

    Build and repair electrical harnesses for avionics systems; read and interpret schematics and diagrams.

    Use wire-marking machines to label and identify wires and cables.

    Operate harness-braiding machines to protect and organize wiring.

    Assemble, test, and troubleshoot wafer connections.

    Modify and construct Gigabit Ethernet Switch (GES) systems, including troubleshooting and repair.

    Perform Ethernet wiring modifications, construction, testing, and troubleshooting.

    Assemble, troubleshoot, and modify circuit breaker panels and matrix assemblies.

    Work collaboratively with engineers and technicians to resolve technical issues.

    Apply avionics knowledge to diagnose and repair complex system problems.

    Maintain accurate documentation and records of all work performed.

    Ensure compliance with safety protocols when working with electrical systems.

Requirements:

    High School Diploma or GED

    4 6 years of avionics testing experience

    4 6 years of cable wire harness experience

    Ability to build and repair electrical harnesses using schematics and diagrams

    Proficient with wire-marking and harness-braiding machines

    Experience assembling, testing, and troubleshooting wafer connections

    Ability to modify, construct, and troubleshoot Gigabit Ethernet Switch (GES) systems

    Skilled in Ethernet wiring assembly, testing, and troubleshooting

    Experience assembling and modifying circuit breaker panels and matrix assemblies

    Strong collaboration skills with engineers and technicians

    Ability to diagnose and resolve complex avionics system issues

    Strong documentation and record-keeping abilities

    Adherence to all electrical safety protocols

    Must be willing to work second shift.

    Must be a U.S. Citizen (as defined by ITAR).
