PDS Tech Commercial, partnering with a leader in the aerospace industry, is seeking a dependable Shipping/Receiving Clerk to support critical avionics flow at a high-volume facility in Wichita, KS (67226). Role Summary

As a Shipping/Receiving Clerk, you’ll be a key link in the supply chain—ensuring avionics equipment is accurately received, inspected, documented, and staged to keep production moving. Your reliability and attention to detail directly support quality, schedule adherence, and operational efficiency.

What You’ll Do

• Receive and open incoming avionics shipments using proper safety protocols

• Verify shipment accuracy, identify discrepancies, and reconcile paperwork

• Sort documentation and stage carts for downstream process flow

• Monitor your own output and quality to meet organizational standards

• Use tools, systems, procedures, and processes with moderate supervision

• Validate and capture reported defects

• Assist with special projects as needed

• Support coordination for holidays, extra hours, and shift changes

• Job Type: Full-Time, Consultant (12-month assignment; temp-to-perm)

• Location: Wichita, KS, 67226

• Schedule: Monday–Friday

• Second Shift: 11:30 AM – 8:00 PM

• Training: First Shift

• Pay Rate: $20.91 per hour

  • Ability to lift up to 25 lbs independently; 50 lbs via team lift

  • Use of box knife and material-handling tools

  • Safety-minded approach in a production environment

  Required

  • This position requires use of information or access to facilities subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or Export Administration Regulations (EAR). These regulations may limit access of controlled technologies: 1) to U.S. Persons, including U.S. Citizens, lawful permanent residents, and other narrow categories including refugees and asylees, or 2) to certain foreign nationals that have received an export license.                                               
     

  • High School diploma or GED

  • Dependable and reliable attendance

  • Ability to follow safety protocols and standard work instructions

  Preferred

  • Experience with SAP or another ERP system

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
