Summary of the Role
PDS Tech Commercial is seeking a Systems Assembler to perform routine production assembly operations on structural and mechanical assemblies, subassemblies, and aircraft systems. In this role, you will help assemble, install, and test critical aircraft components, directly contributing to the safety, quality, and reliability of world-class aerospace products. Your attention to detail and technical skill will ensure every aircraft is built to the highest standards.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
Install aircraft parts and assemblies including landing gear, control surfaces, exterior panels, carpets, blankets, roller trays, stowbins, sidewalls, ceiling panels, lavatories, galleys, doors, and seats.
Install aircraft system components such as tubing, valves, regulators, actuators, compressors, and ducts.
Use hand tools and diagnostic equipment such as screwdrivers, ratchets, power screwdrivers, multimeters, and continuity testers.
Follow detailed work instructions, blueprints, drawings, or specifications to ensure proper assembly.
Work safely and efficiently to meet production schedules and quality standards.
Work variable shifts (1st, 2nd, or 3rd) as required.
Required Qualifications
6 months or more experience using software applications including internet navigation, email, Microsoft Suite, or other specialized tools.
6 months or more experience reading and following detailed work instructions, blueprints, drawings, or specifications in English.
6 months or more experience in an advanced manufacturing, technical, or mechanical field using hand, power, and pneumatic tools.
6 months or more experience with structural parts fabrication, assembly processes, and procedures.
Ability to meet physical demands including bending, kneeling, overhead reaching, standing, twisting, crawling, and crouching.
Ability to lift and carry up to 35 pounds.
Preferred Qualifications
Prior experience in aerospace assembly or systems installation.
Familiarity with diagnostic tools and testing procedures.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety and quality.
