NC Programmer
Pay: $84.67/hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8 AM–5 PM
Location: Primarily Remote (with occasional onsite reviews)
PDS Tech Commercial is seeking a highly skilled NC Programmer to support a premier aviation industry partner. In this role, you will play a key part in refining, optimizing, and advancing complex NC programs critical to both production and development operations. Your expertise will directly improve precision, reliability, and automation across a series of sophisticated aerospace components.
Develop advanced NC programs using CATIA V5 or V6 with full compatibility to CATIA V6 environments.
Integrate and debug Renishaw probing routines within the post-processing workflow.
Troubleshoot and refine existing NC programs, eliminating production bugs and optimizing routines for precision tolerances.
Support the transition from manual probing to automated registry-based probing processes.
Review and refine six existing production programs to resolve current errors and tolerance issues.
Debug and complete two in-progress developmental programs halted in pre-production.
Provide specialized NC programming support for production and development needs, including probing development and automation.
Collaborate with engineering and manufacturing teams during remote and occasional onsite reviews.
Proven NC Programming experience in an aerospace or advanced manufacturing environment.
Extensive hands-on experience with Renishaw probing systems.
Proficiency with CATIA V5 or V6 NC programming.
Ability to debug and optimize complex machining routines.
Experience transitioning manual probing workflows to automated systems.
Background in refining production processes for tight tolerance aerospace components.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
