PDS Tech Commercial is seeking a talented Manufacturing Engineer to join our team, partnering with a global leader in the aerospace industry. This is your opportunity to support groundbreaking aircraft programs and contribute to mission-critical production operations at one of the most advanced manufacturing sites in the world.
As a Manufacturing Engineer, you will play a key role in supporting production operations within the Vertical Lift facility in Ridley Park, PA. Your work will directly impact the manufacturing of iconic aircraft such as the H-47 Chinook Helicopter and the V-22 Osprey Tiltrotor. In this role, you will help develop efficient manufacturing processes, solve complex technical challenges, and improve production quality, safety, and cost performance.
Support manufacturing operations in a fast-paced production environment.
Develop and implement manufacturing and tooling methodologies.
Integrate technical solutions across mechanical, electrical, structural, and systems disciplines.
Create and maintain conceptual designs and program architecture for build processes.
Investigate technical issues and develop actionable solutions using Lean principles.
Collaborate closely with engineering, production, and support teams to improve process capability and first-time quality.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives that enhance schedule performance, reduce cost, improve quality, and increase worker safety.
Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering or related Production Engineering field.
Strong analytical, technical, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to communicate effectively with technical personnel across multiple disciplines.
Proven ability to work collaboratively in team environments.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Education or experience aligned with engineering or technical fields; ABET accreditation preferred but not required.
Experience supporting manufacturing or production engineering processes.
Familiarity with Lean manufacturing methods and process improvement.
Background in aircraft or aerospace production environments.

Job Type: Full-Time, Consultant (6-Month Contract)
Location: Ridley Park, PA
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 6:30 AM–3:00 PM (flexible start time up to 1 hour later)
Pay Rate Starting at : $36.50 per hour
