Chipton-Ross is seeking a Design Engineer for a contract opportunity in Fort Worth, TX.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE): •Must have at least 3 years of experience with control surface design. •Must have at least 5 years of experience with Catia V5. •Must have at least 5 years of experience with PDM •Must have at least 5 years of experience with Creation and/or modification of primary and secondary structural parts, assemblies, installations, and interface control models/documents.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES: •Creation and/or modification of primary and secondary structural parts, assemblies, installations, and interface control models/documents. •Contributing to developing, testing, and validating aircraft structural designs. •Assisting in creating system requirements, trade studies, statements of work, and test plans. • Coordination with internal Integrated Product Teams (IPTs), with some interaction with external IPTs and suppliers.
REQUIRED EDUCATION: •Accredited HSD/GED
