Material Coordinator – Keep Production Moving in a Critical Aerospace Environment

PDS Tech Commercial, partnering with a leader in the aerospace industry, is seeking a dedicated Material Coordinator to support essential material flow and inventory operations at our Colorado Springs, CO location. This role is key to ensuring that manufacturing and repair teams have the materials they need to keep production running efficiently and on schedule.

About the Role

As a Material Coordinator, you’ll manage the movement, tracking, and storage of inventory that directly supports aerospace manufacturing and repair operations. Your attention to detail ensures accuracy, timeliness, and compliance—helping teams work safely and effectively while maintaining high performance standards.

What You’ll Do

• Enter and process material requests in SAP.

• Pull materials accurately from designated storage machines based on SAP locations and batch requirements.

• Deliver materials to specific areas across the manufacturing floor.

• Maintain correct material storage procedures and organize required documentation.

• Conduct periodic inventory audits to ensure accuracy.

• Respond to urgent material requests from internal and external customers.

• Update and report information that supports the overall repair process.

• Assist with additional tasks as needed to support operations.

• Occasionally work on Saturdays to meet customer needs.

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma.

• U.S. Citizenship required.

• Experience with material handling or inventory operations.

• Familiarity with SAP or similar inventory management systems (preferred but not required).

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

• Ability to move around the manufacturing floor and manage moderate physical activity.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in a manufacturing, warehouse, or repair/maintenance environment.

• Previous exposure to aerospace or high-regulation industries.

Position Details

• Job Type: Full-Time, 6-Month Contract

• Location: Colorado Springs, CO 80916

• Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM; occasional Saturdays

• Pay Rate: $18 per hour

• Work Arrangement: 100% Onsite
