Job Type: Full-Time, Consultant (12 months)
Location: Everett, WA 98204
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM (first shift)
Pay Rate Starting at: $56.92 per hour
Start Date: ASAP
You’ll collaborate with a dynamic team of 20+ engineers to design, analyze, and integrate electronic and electrical systems across a variety of cabin-focused technologies including passenger address systems, seatback video, interior lighting, satellite connections, passenger connectivity, and more. Opportunities are available for both Associate and Experienced Engineers.
Support the design, development, and integration of cabin electronic systems.
Contribute to system architecture, hardware and software design, and requirements development.
Perform electronic and electrical systems analysis to ensure performance, safety, and regulatory compliance.
Assist with model-based development and documentation in accordance with engineering standards.
Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, program management, and technical teams.
Participate in system validation and verification efforts.
Engage in continuous improvement and problem-solving initiatives.
Work onsite with potential opportunities for limited domestic or international travel.
Overtime may be required (up to 20%).
3+ years of related professional experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience in an electrical design engineering environment with a focus on electronic and electrical systems design and analysis.
Bachelor of Science degree in engineering, engineering technology, chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science.
This position requires use of information or access to facilities subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or Export Administration Regulations (EAR). These regulations may limit access of controlled technologies: 1) to U.S. Persons, including U.S. Citizens, lawful permanent residents, and other narrow categories including refugees and asylees, or 2) to certain foreign nationals that have received an export license.
Strong organizational skills and keen attention to detail.
Experience with both hardware and software aspects of Electrical Systems.
Knowledge of FAA certification processes.
Background in system design and integration on aircraft development programs.
Experience with Model-Based Development tools.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively within a team.
Proven ability to manage workload, prioritize tasks, and maintain clear documentation.
