PDS Tech Commercial is seeking a skilled Assembler to support a leading aerospace innovator in either Lemont Furnace, PA or Smithfield, PA. Role Summary

As an Assembler, you will perform essential production assembly tasks that support the manufacturing of advanced aerospace components. Your work ensures accuracy, reliability, and performance—directly influencing the safety and success of each product delivered. This position is ideal for someone who values precision, teamwork, and opportunities to grow technical skills in a high-performing environment.

What You’ll Do

• Perform routine production assembly operations on structural and mechanical assemblies, subassemblies, and aircraft systems
• Use manual operations and follow detailed work instructions to ensure high-quality output
• Apply strong problem-solving skills to resolve routine issues following established procedures
• Document and implement corrective or preventive actions as needed
• Engage in continuous learning to build and maintain required technical knowledge
• Work independently with general supervision, receiving detailed instructions for new tasks
• Maintain accuracy and adherence to compliance standards in a regulated manufacturing environment
• Follow established processes to prevent FOD, ensure safe material handling, and meet calibration and ESD requirements

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• 1+ years of experience reading and understanding engineering drawings and specifications
• Experience working in a highly regulated environment where compliance is essential
• 1+ years of hands-on experience in a manufacturing setting
• Experience assembling or fabricating mechanical or electrical systems using industry-standard processes
•Must be eligible to obtain a Security Clearance.
• Willingness to work any shift

This position requires use of information or access to facilities subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or Export Administration Regulations (EAR). These regulations may limit access of controlled technologies: 1) to U.S. Persons, including U.S. Citizens, lawful permanent residents, and other narrow categories including refugees and asylees, or 2) to certain foreign nationals that have received an export license.                                               
 

Preferred Qualifications

• 1+ year of experience using specialized tools such as wire crimpers, wire strippers, multimeters, or routing tools
• Knowledge of assembly and production processes, including interpreting engineering drawings, wiring diagrams, and change memos
• Understanding of production vs. in-service manufacturing requirements
• Experience supporting evaluation and qualification of materials, suppliers, equipment, and processes
• Strong working knowledge of FOD prevention, safety protocols, ESD procedures, and material handling

• Location: Lemont Furnace, PA or Smithfield, PA (100% onsite)
• Schedule: Monday–Friday; must be willing to work any shift
• Pay Rate Starting at: $26.06 per hour
