Systems Electrical Design Engineer
PDS Tech Commercial is seeking an experienced Design and Analysis Engineer to support a world-class aerospace leader in Berkeley, MO. As a Senior-Level Design and Analysis Engineer, you will play a key role in developing system wiring diagrams and electrical designs for advanced aircraft programs. Your work will influence production, sustainment, and future retrofit initiatives, while your leadership will shape the growth of less experienced engineers. This position is suited for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, technically demanding environment and enjoys working closely with diverse engineering and customer teams.
• Develop system wire diagrams for production and retrofit programs using Siemens Mentor Graphics
• Design wiring bundles for multiple aircraft models in support of ongoing and future program needs
• Provide mentorship, technical guidance, and leadership to less experienced wire design engineers
• Partner closely with cross-functional internal teams, customer stakeholders, and integration groups
• Support functional engineering tasks, issue resolution, and system-level integration activities
• Foster strong communication and collaboration across organizations
• Work effectively in a team environment with minimal direction
• Perform all work onsite at the Berkeley, MO facility
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical or Computer Engineering
• 9+ years of related experience with a Bachelor’s degree, OR
7+ years with a Master’s degree, OR
4+ years with a PhD
• 5+ years of experience developing wiring harness designs using Siemens Mentor Graphics
• Experience with hardware–software airplane-level integration and troubleshooting
• Strong understanding of electrical engineering and scientific principles applied to wire harness and interconnect systems
• Must be eligible to obtain a Security Clearance.
This position requires use of information or access to facilities subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or Export Administration Regulations (EAR). These regulations may limit access of controlled technologies: 1) to U.S. Persons, including U.S. Citizens, lawful permanent residents, and other narrow categories including refugees and asylees, or 2) to certain foreign nationals that have received an export license.
• 7+ years of experience with Siemens Mentor Graphics wiring harness design
• 7+ years of airplane-level subsystems development, integration, and troubleshooting
• Familiarity with USN Technical Orders

• Pay Rate Starting at: $71.90 per hour
