PDS Tech Commercial is seeking a Design and Analysis Engineer to support a leading innovator in the aerospace industry. As a Design and Analysis Engineer, you will play a key part in developing and validating sophisticated electronic and electrical systems. You’ll support system design, testing, troubleshooting, and documentation efforts that ensure quality, reliability, and consistent performance across major aerospace programs. This role is ideal for engineers who enjoy hands-on work, cross-functional collaboration, and continuous technical challenges.
Assist in developing and documenting electronic and electrical system requirements.
Create or modify hardware and software designs based on defined specifications.
Perform system testing to validate operational and functional system requirements.
Support technicians and suppliers during fabrication by answering design and process questions.
Troubleshoot product integration issues and production anomalies.
Conduct hands-on testing and troubleshoot test racks and related systems.
Execute acceptance test procedures and document results.
Develop and maintain scripts for test execution using C and C++.
Research new technologies for potential application.
Bachelor of Science degree in engineering, engineering technology, chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science.
2+ years of related experience with a bachelor’s degree, or a master’s degree with relevant experience.
Must be eligible to obtain a Security Clearance.
This position requires use of information or access to facilities subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or Export Administration Regulations (EAR). These regulations may limit access of controlled technologies: 1) to U.S. Persons, including U.S. Citizens, lawful permanent residents, and other narrow categories including refugees and asylees, or 2) to certain foreign nationals that have received an export license.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.
Experience with laboratory test equipment (oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, etc.).
Strong programming foundation in C, C++, and Python.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Experience with Siemens Capital software.

Position Details:
Job Type: Full-time, 12-month consulting assignment
Location: Berkeley, MO (Onsite)
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8 AM–5 PM
Starting Pay Rate: $53.34 per hour
