Financial Analyst
PDS Tech Commercial is hiring a Financial Analyst to support a leading aerospace organization in a dynamic, hybrid role based in Windsor Locks, CT. As a Senior Financial Analyst supporting the Power & Controls Aftermarket (P&C AM) organization, you’ll act as a trusted partner to department leaders. You will develop, manage, and refine budgets, ensure financial accuracy, and deliver reporting that guides strategic decisions. This is a highly visible, impactful role ideal for a self-starter who enjoys digging into data, identifying insights, and improving financial processes.

Location: Windsor Locks, CT 06096 (Hybrid)
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 1st Shift, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
Pay Rate: $56.63 per hour
This position requires use of information or access to facilities subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or Export Administration Regulations (EAR). These regulations may limit access of controlled technologies: 1) to U.S. Persons, including U.S. Citizens, lawful permanent residents, and other narrow categories including refugees and asylees, or 2) to certain foreign nationals that have received an export license.
Develop, manage, and maintain budgets used by Aftermarket department leaders.
Analyze financial statements and investigate significant budget variances.
Support department heads by training and guiding them in the use of financial tools and monthly reporting processes.
Collaborate with global finance teams and intercompany partners to ensure accurate cost alignment within budgets.
Complete government accounting budgeting requests related to assigned departments.
Document all financial procedures and workflows to support knowledge transfer and consistency.
Drive process improvement initiatives to enhance reporting quality, streamline workflows, and elevate customer satisfaction.
Assist with Aftermarket reporting, including month-to-date sales, orders, and month-end and year-end results.
Bachelor’s degree (work experience may be accepted in lieu of a degree).
Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and strong communication skills.
Ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment and collaborate with teams at multiple levels.
Experience supporting financial reporting, budgeting, or variance analysis.
Experience with SAP, OneStream, or Power BI.
Background in financial analysis within manufacturing, aerospace, or a similar environment.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
A proactive mindset with the willingness to ask questions and drive improvements.
