Corporate Investigator
PDS Tech Commercial is seeking a highly skilled Corporate Investigator to support a leading aerospace organization in Everett, WA. Job Type: Full Time; Consultant (6 Months)
Location: Everett, WA (Hybrid)
Schedule: Monday–Friday; 1st shift (8 AM–5 PM); Must also be able to support 2nd and 3rd shifts as needed
Pay Rate Starting at: $45.46 per hour-$55.02
In this high-visibility role, you will conduct internal investigations into employee wrongdoing, ensuring compliance, fairness, and accountability. Your work will help safeguard the company’s ethical standards and support a safe, respected workplace.
As a Corporate Investigator, you will:
Gather and evaluate preliminary evidence such as witness statements, physical items, and electronic data.
Develop clear investigative plans, define scope, and identify additional resources or tools needed.
Apply investigative methodologies to assess allegations, determine risk, and verify compliance with policies, regulations, and standards.
Investigate complex matters, analyzing facts and leveraging subject matter experts to draw sound conclusions.
Support anti-retaliation efforts by identifying retaliatory behaviors and reinforcing protections for reporting parties and witnesses.
Build strong cross-functional partnerships with Ethics, HR, Legal, Safety, Quality, and other investigative partners.
Provide periodic case updates to stakeholders based on sensitivity and need-to-know guidelines.
Produce concise, well-documented investigative reports using approved formats.
Deliver findings to appropriate partners for follow-up action.
Identify root causes of misconduct and recommend remediation strategies.
Mentor, train, and collaborate with other investigators to support knowledge transfer.
Work onsite as needed in Everett, Renton, Seattle, or other Puget Sound locations; some travel may be required.
3+ years of experience conducting complex investigations, including interviewing, evidence collection, analysis, and report writing.
3+ years of experience using Microsoft Office products (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
This position requires use of information or access to facilities subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or Export Administration Regulations (EAR). These regulations may limit access of controlled technologies: 1) to U.S. Persons, including U.S. Citizens, lawful permanent residents, and other narrow categories including refugees and asylees, or 2) to certain foreign nationals that have received an export license.
3+ years conducting formal employee-related investigations.
Experience with EEO investigations and determining resolutions.
Experience investigating alleged misconduct involving union-represented employees.
Proficiency with case management systems and forensic investigative tools/software.
Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) or other compliance/ethics certifications.
Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree and 6+ years of related experience, OR
A Master’s degree plus 4+ years of related experience, OR
10+ years of directly related investigative experience.
