Now Hiring: Materials Administrator – Support Essential Operations for a Leading Aerospace Innovator
PDS Tech Commercial is seeking a highly organized and reliable Materials Administrator to join our team in partnership with a top aerospace industry leader in Lenexa, KS. In this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring accurate material flow, timely processing, and seamless communication across the repair and materials management operations.
As a Materials Administrator, you will support daily receiving, tracking, documentation, and customer coordination activities that keep the repair center operating efficiently. Your attention to detail and ability to work collaboratively will directly influence turnaround times, schedule accuracy, and customer satisfaction.
This is a full-time, 6-month consulting opportunity, offering a steady Monday–Friday, first-shift schedule (7 AM–3:30 PM) and a competitive pay rate of $19.11 per hour.
• Process incoming goods and returns into ERP and Repair Center systems
• Identify, log, and track items with discrepancies (paperwork, part/serial numbers, RO issues, missing data, etc.)
• Communicate with internal teams and external customers regarding returns, repairs, and receiving-related issues
• Maintain accurate delivery and receiving records
• Manage RAI activity and track AWBs and schedules
• Deliver daily reporting on key metrics, including grief units and customer trends
• Work with customer service and order administration teams to resolve grief units and expedite product clearance
• Maintain control and identification of units in grief
• File, scan, and manage repair documentation according to company procedures
• Uphold cleanliness, organization, and safety in your workspace
• Build strong working relationships with colleagues, supervisors, and customers
• Perform additional duties as assigned by logistics leadership
• HS Diploma or AA/AS degree (or other 2-year post–high school training) with at least 2 years of relevant experience
• OR 4 years of relevant experience without a diploma/GED
• Strong multitasking, prioritization, and time-management skills
This position requires use of information or access to facilities subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or Export Administration Regulations (EAR). These regulations may limit access of controlled technologies: 1) to U.S. Persons, including U.S. Citizens, lawful permanent residents, and other narrow categories including refugees and asylees, or 2) to certain foreign nationals that have received an export license.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel
• Experience with Office 365, including Outlook and Teams
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, especially via email and customer calls
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
• Prior experience in materials handling or customer service roles
• Strong organizational skills with an aptitude for maintaining clean and structured workflows
• Comfortable collaborating with customer service, shipping/receiving, and MRO leadership
