PDS Tech Commercial is seeking an entry-level Electro Mechanical Technician to join our team in partnership with a leading innovator in the aerospace industry. About the Role

In this full-time, 12-month consulting role, you will be part of the Cargo Assembly team, working under the guidance of a Manufacturing Team Leader. Your work will play a key role in ensuring products are accurately assembled, tested, packaged, and ready for delivery. This position is ideal for detail-oriented individuals who enjoy hands-on work, problem-solving, and contributing to a team-driven manufacturing environment.

• Location: Jamestown, ND 58401

• Schedule: Monday–Thursday, 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM

• Pay Rate: $19/hour (non-negotiable)
  
  This position requires use of information or access to facilities subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or Export Administration Regulations (EAR). These regulations may limit access of controlled technologies: 1) to U.S. Persons, including U.S. Citizens, lawful permanent residents, and other narrow categories including refugees and asylees, or 2) to certain foreign nationals that have received an export license.                                               
   

What You Will Do

• Read, interpret, and follow blueprints, diagrams, engineering drawings, specifications, and bills of materials.

• Operate hand tools, air tools, hand cutters, measuring devices, and light equipment.

• Maintain accurate inventory of components at assigned workstations.

• Perform quality checks, identify defects, and document findings.

• Rework or repair products based on updated engineering specifications.

• Complete all tasks in alignment with quality standards and safety procedures.

• Keep your workspace clean, safe, and organized.

Qualifications You Must Have

• High School Diploma or equivalent.

  • If you do not have a diploma/GED, 2 years of relevant experience will be accepted.

Qualifications We Prefer

• Computer Skills: Ability to navigate basic computer systems and software.

• Tool Proficiency: Comfortable using hand and power tools with precision.

• Customer Focus: Support timely assembly and delivery to meet customer needs.

• Reading/Comprehension: Ability to understand written instructions, memos, and documentation.

• Written Communication: Capable of writing simple correspondence when needed.

• Teamwork: Strong collaborator who contributes positively to group efforts.
