Job Type: Contract (12 months with potential for extension)
Clearance: Must have a full Secret Clearance with an investigation within the last 5 years or be enrolled in Continuous Evaluation. Program special access is required to start.

Summary:
Create and analyze 3D-based model data to optimize manufacturing processes and develop digital work instructions.
Leverage understanding of materials and automated processes to define operations procedures and build sequences for operational excellence.
Evaluate equipment and tool performance (including IoT devices) to ensure efficiency; initiate corrective actions as needed.
Use factory data to develop statistical process control approaches and integrate reporting and data analytics solutions for continuous improvement.
Provide input to product design regarding concepts and specifications to maximize manufacturing efficiency.
Requirements:
Must have a full Secret Clearance with an investigation within the last 5 years or be enrolled in Continuous Evaluation. Program special access is required to start.
Minimum 4 years of Manufacturing Engineer experience (not an ME Planner role).
Experience working cross-functionally in manufacturing with industrial engineering, planning, scheduling, Quality Assurance, and/or production.
Experience with manufacturing processes such as fabrication, assembly, machining, and electrical work across multiple disciplines, including composites, metallics, bonded assemblies, and installations.
Previous experience with lean manufacturing and process improvements.
Experience with MRP systems, SAP, or other Manufacturing Execution System (MES) applications.
Experience in first-time build product development.
