Ensure Aerospace Quality That Keeps Innovation in the Air

PDS Tech Commercial, in partnership with a leading name in the aerospace industry, is seeking a skilled Inspector to support high-precision manufacturing operations in Kinston, NC. In this essential role, you’ll be responsible for ensuring the accuracy, quality, and reliability of aerospace components through detailed visual and dimensional inspections. Your commitment to precision and compliance will help uphold the safety, performance, and reputation of world-class aircraft systems.

What You’ll Do

• Perform 100% visual and dimensional inspections on parts and assemblies produced by HAAS machines.

• Inspect materials, components, and assemblies using prescribed methods, drawings, and specifications.

• Utilize precision measuring tools such as micrometers, dial indicators, and scales to verify conformance.

• Identify, document, and report any non-conforming materials or defects in accordance with established procedures.

• Conduct inspections using blueprints, CATIA drawings, quality control standards, and checklists.

• Inspect parts and assemblies from vendors, subcontractors, or internal manufacturing teams.

• Maintain accurate quality records and ensure full traceability of inspection results.

• Support process improvement initiatives and help maintain continuous product flow on the production floor.

• Cross-train and assist in related areas, including Assembly and First Article Inspection (FAI), as required.

What You’ll Bring

Required Qualifications:

• Hands-on experience performing visual and dimensional inspections in an aviation manufacturing environment.

• Proficiency with precision measurement tools and blueprint interpretation.

• Familiarity with aviation manufacturing practices and quality documentation.

• Ability to start on November 24, 2025.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in both Assembly and FAI (First Article Inspection) environments.

• Strong understanding of process improvement and quality assurance methods.

• Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy in fast-paced production settings.
