Quality Assurance Specialist
Location: Dallas, TX
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7 AM–4 PM (First Shift)
Contract Type: Full-Time Consultant (12 Months)
Pay Rate starting at: $17.53 per hour
PDS Tech Commercial is seeking a Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team in partnership with a leader in the aerospace industry. In this vital role, you’ll help ensure that every component shipped meets the highest regulatory and customer standards. Your attention to detail and commitment to precision will help maintain the quality, safety, and reputation of cutting-edge aerospace products trusted worldwide.
Perform complete part inspections on customer orders and verify compliance with the aerospace company and FAA/CAA regulations.
Determine FAA approval type and part application; complete 8130-3 and non-regulatory (ATA 106) documentation.
Ensure order accuracy and timeliness to meet customer expectations.
Verify and route work according to weight requirements, redirecting as needed.
Conduct audits, surveillance, and monitoring to ensure conformance to design and process requirements.
Identify and document discrepancies, segregate non-conforming items, and support rework review processes.
Enter verification data in SAP and manage material scanning for QA traceability.
Collaborate with internal teams and QA leadership to ensure all documentation and certifications are complete and compliant.
Required Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
1–2 years of SAP experience.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently while maintaining accuracy and efficiency.
This position requires use of information or access to facilities subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or Export Administration Regulations (EAR). These regulations may limit access of controlled technologies: 1) to U.S. Persons, including U.S. Citizens, lawful permanent residents, and other narrow categories including refugees and asylees, or 2) to certain foreign nationals that have received an export license.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in quality acceptance or inspection within mechanical, technical, or warehouse environments.
Familiarity with FAA regulations and aerospace documentation practices.
