Content Development Specialist
Location: Onsite at one of the following: Everett, WA | Huntsville, AL | Mesa, AZ | St. Louis, MO | Auburn, WA
Schedule: Monday–Friday, First Shift (6:00 AM – 2:30 PM)
Job Type: Full-Time Consultant (6 Months)
Starting Pay Rate: $44.10 per hour
PDS Tech Commercial is partnering with a global leader in the aerospace industry to hire Content Development Specialists who will help design, develop, and deliver cutting-edge training programs that equip employees with the knowledge to excel. This role combines instructional design expertise with technical insight to shape curriculum that drives performance, safety, and innovation across multiple sites.
As part of a high-impact learning and development team, you’ll create engaging training materials that support both managers and students — helping engineers, technicians, and leaders grow within one of the most advanced industries in the world.
Define project scope, deliverables, and resource requirements for training initiatives.
Develop curriculum, course content, presentations, and training guides aligned with business and technical objectives.
Lead content reviews, oversee instructional materials, and ensure alignment with learning objectives and system requirements.
Partner with leadership and HR to create and deploy new hire assessments, orientation schedules, and technical training programs.
Utilize instructional design methodologies (ADDIE) to ensure effective and scalable learning solutions.
Serve as a lead instructor in specialized content areas, delivering impactful classroom or workshop instruction.
Conduct performance analysis and recommend continuous improvements to training materials and delivery methods.
Required Qualifications:
3–5 years of instructional design experience, including curriculum and content development.
A technical background in electrical, aviation, mechanical, or structural disciplines.
Familiarity with structural system designs and learning development models (ADDIE).
Prior experience training or instructing in a technical or engineering environment.
