Summary:
Serve as secondary painter for systems and miscellaneous hardware.
Perform depot-level repairs, modifications, and refurbishments of M-TADS/M-PNVS components.
Conduct repair, rework, fault isolation, troubleshooting, and acceptance testing of mechanical, structural, optical, and complete systems.
Operate test equipment (oscilloscopes, multimeters, network analyzers, waveform generators).
Read and interpret engineering drawings, schematics, and specifications.
Use precision measuring tools to ensure compliance with tolerances.
Set up and operate milling machines and drill presses for component rework/repair.
Complete work IAW engineering drawings, RCPs, FABs, and CIPs.
Document work in automated maintenance data systems per Apache Fire Control procedures.
Provide feedback on electro-mechanical and electro-optical component reliability.
Handle hazardous materials safely using appropriate PPE.
Perform limited supply duties (e.g., load/unload trucks, operate overhead hoists).
Requirements:
Ability to Obtain Not Required to Start
2 4 years in electro-mechanical and electro-optical repair.
2 4 years in avionics/electronics principles, CCA rework, and troubleshooting.
Proficiency with general-purpose or automated test equipment.
Ability to interpret engineering drawings, schematics, and repair procedures.
Familiarity with industrial standards, military specs, and maintenance safety.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to lift 35 lbs and adapt to changing customer requirements.
Knowledge of government property control policies.
Experience working with hazardous materials and chemical mixing.
Skilled in safety wiring assemblies/connectors.
Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office.
Military flight-line maintenance experience preferred.
Must be a U.S. Citizen (as defined by ITAR).
