Location: Ridley Park, PA | Starting Pay: $45.75/hr | Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM–3:30 PM | Type: Full-Time, 6-Month Contract
PDS Tech Commercial, Inc. is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Support Engineering Data Specialist to join our team, partnering with a leader in the aerospace industry. In this role, you’ll play a vital part in ensuring aircraft systems remain reliable, maintainable, and ready for mission success.
You’ll analyze complex technical data, develop maintenance and logistics support recommendations, and help define how aircraft systems are sustained throughout their lifecycle. Your work directly supports the efficiency, safety, and performance of cutting-edge aerospace programs.
Develop, analyze, and maintain technical data to support system sustainment and reliability.
Evaluate product supportability, providing recommendations to enhance operational efficiency and lifecycle performance.
Establish maintenance and operational requirements for aircraft systems and subsystems.
Identify logistics support candidates from product definitions and create logistics support analysis records and reports.
Determine spares provisioning needs for spare and replacement parts, stocking levels, and resource allocation across multiple customers.
Prepare and maintain technical documentation, including maintenance manuals, operating procedures, and test instructions.
Review and assess aircraft performance data to improve reliability, availability, and fleet readiness.
This role offers some flexibility with virtual workdays and a consistent weekday schedule.
Required Qualifications:
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
5+ years of aircraft maintenance or avionics experience.
This position requires use of information or access to facilities subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or Export Administration Regulations (EAR). These regulations may limit access of controlled technologies: 1) to U.S. Persons, including U.S. Citizens, lawful permanent residents, and other narrow categories including refugees and asylees, or 2) to certain foreign nationals that have received an export license.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with SLICWAVE, MIL-STD-1388B, or GEIA-0007B standards.
Background in IETM development, LSAR creation, or technical writing.
Proven skills in troubleshooting aircraft systems and supporting maintenance operations.
Education / Experience:
Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g., Bachelor’s degree) and 6 or more years of related work experience, or an equivalent combination such as:
Master’s degree + 4 years related experience, or
10 years of directly related work experience in lieu of a degree.
